Shannon is a Colorado native born in Denver, Colorado. She received her Bachelor of Science in Human Biology at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs as well as her Registered Nurse and her masters to become a Family Nurse Practitioner at Simmons University in Boston, Massachusetts.
Her background includes working 3 years as a registered nurse in hospice and home health in Boston and throughout Colorado as well as working 1.5 years as a Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner working in end of life prior to her transition to primary care. Shannon is very passionate that her patients be involved in their care. Her health care philosophy revolves around providing a holistic approach in providing care for her patients. It is her belief that patients should be well-informed decision-makers of their care.
When Shannon is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband and English bulldog. Shannon also enjoys skiing, working out on her peloton, traveling, and going to concerts. She is very grateful to serve Denver and the surrounding areas.
