I was on the fence when Shannon Graves left. It’s hard for me to change my routines and get comfortable with new people. Mr.Richard White was great today. He was a great listener, seemed understanding, and seemed like he was concerned with the things I was concerned about. Mr.Richard addressed every concern I had. He seemed very knowledgeable & he was very nice and calm.

THEY EDITED MY REVIEW My FULL Review: Shannon Graves is GONE! Taryne Wolf is GONE! After Taryne Wolf left, I was seeing Stephanie Green. Stephanie & Shannon both left without notice. This practice sucks now. They lost all of my imaging. When I go to appointments I’m having to explain my injuries, my illnesses, etc. Kendra Decker really suck & seems very un knowledgeable. At my appointment she seemed to not know anything about me, treated me as if I was lying about my injuries & pain level. My imaging and medical files speaks for themselves. I’m 100% disabled. I receive disability. My he things I can do are limited. I’ve been approved for disability, approved for help & services at home, awarded the maximum amount for my settlement due to my injuries. Feels like I’m being judged by Kendra off of my looks. Just because I look great, doesn’t mean I feel great. I have been a patient at this practice since it first started with Dr.Francois Joseph. So for over 9 years. The name of this practice has changed, the doctors and Nurse practitioners keep changing, the location keeps changing, and the staff keeps changing. There’s no stability with the staff here. It is very unorganized. It has become a shit show. I don’t like change & it’s hard for me to adapt and get comfortable with all these different new people. I felt very uncomfortable with Kendra Decker. She did not fill out my paperwork, she did not address any of my concerns. She couldn’t look into my medical files or see any of my imaging. It was like a waste of an appointment and a waste of my time. This appointment stressed me out & my anxiety went through the roof. I’m very in unhappy. I’ve been a patient here for over 9 years. I’ve been a patient longer than the (CURRENT) staff has been employed… the staff keeps changing. Something about this practice just doesn’t seem right, b/c the staff keeps changing. I have been a patient for a very long time here & this is the FIRST TIME, I’ve asked for a referral to another practice. I was told by Kendra to look up where I want to go & then for my next appointment she will send a referral. Kendra Decker didn’t seem to care at all that I’ve been a patient for a long time here & now want to change practices, b/c of how cold & unemphatic she was towards me. I don’t recommend anyone to come here to the COLORADO SPRINGS location and see KENDRA DECKER. At least not anyone black & middle aged. Don’t seem to care about what patients like myself have going on. Kendra seem very unconcerned, very unwelcoming, & extremely cold.

I went into see a physician due to issues in my stomach and was directed to Brina Wade. She started off with asking me how I was doing and what I was in there for. I then responded to her with my issues and she replied with there are too many people on Medicaid Here in this town! So I replied this town has a lot of indigent folks live here because most are disabled or have issues. She then moved on to her next question which was why do I think I had swelling in my feet in my hands? Then I might have issues with my heart. She then told me that the water retention in my feet and hands was due to my body, not retaining water enough and she recommended me putting salt in my drinking water. Then she proceeded to tell me that I was morbidly obese, and that she thought that I was a diabetic or at least prediabetic without doing any type of test or knowing anything about my history. Please be careful with these people think twice before you go if you have Medicaid because they might not treat you as they would a cash paying customer!

Of course this is only speculation of other things to come, , but since I have been in a similar program here in Colorado I will say I felt comfortable talking about taking and not taking drugs and I want and need to know if I can take the medication I need to and not just take it without asking questions. Also and possible interaction with other meds.

"SAM" is kind and caring. She listens to what is happening. She wants to know if you're getting pain control and if so how much. She will also help with some alternative therapies, like massage and others. She has helped me so much with being able to function daily. I highly recommend Samantha and the whole Summit Care team.

I'm leaving feedback under Richard's name because he is the only other provider, I have seen in the over 4 years I was a patient here. I was not pleased with the care I received from him because it seemed like he didn't listen to me or even read my chart before he attended to my pain needs. He was covering for my provider, Shannon Graves, when she was out on a day in needed injections, and I just could not wait until she returned. I left the practice after my visit on Sept 25, when I arrived to discover that the only people I knew that were left in the office were the 2 receptionists and my provider. When I got in to see Shannon, I jokingly said, "So, when is your last day?" She did not confirm nor deny when/if she was leaving. I called the office the next week, after I got my appt reminder only to find out that she was no longer with the practice! Now, I don't know what's going on in this office, but I can only wonder when the office manager and a PA left abruptly one week, and then within 2 weeks, the whole rest of the office staff and providers. except Richard, and 2 receptionists had left!! By-the-way, Felicia and Shavauna are the ones who kept that front office going. I'm very sad to have to leave, as I really did love going there. It was like catching up with family every time I went. However, if the owner/managers, or whoever is running the show can’t/won’t keep the patients, and apparently, the staff happy as well, then it’s truly high time for me to go. Such a true disappointment!!
